Commitment beyond the call of duty.

All the Homeland teachers are extremely keen to develop their English and teaching skills. Many Homeland teachers (ATs) have completed their IEW Certificate III through Batchelor Institute, at Galiwin'ku.

The delivery of IEW Certificate 4 will begin in Week 4, Term 3, 2004. Currently over 30 homeland residents have expressed interest in studying this course, including three teachers from the Gäwa Christian School.

Shepherdson College, Batchelor Instit. and Christiain Schools Association will jointly deliver the course. All workshops will be held in Homelands with the first workshop at Mäpuru.

Teacher development program. Operating with main campus and Homeland Assistant teachers.

Susan, Debbie and Joanne try their very hardest to improve their skills. It would be hard to find more dedicated teachers any where.
